Dear Reader, So soon, the year is coming to an end. We are happy of all the exchanges and networking promoting great academic partnerships between Ghana and Germany. We look forward to the great dividends this will bring in the coming year.
In the first half of 2023, we shall launch Falling Walls Lab Ghana 2023 after a year of hiatus. Check out several other events and engagements on our website.

This call for application is open to university teachers and established academics and scientists who have completed a doctoral degree and work at a university or research institute in their home country can apply. Application deadline is by 3rd April, 2023. |

This is a funding programme of a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 6 months research stay. It is for a research project or course of continuing scientific education at a state or state-recognised institution of higher education or a non-university research institute in Germany, which is being carried out in coordination with an academic adviser in Germany. Application deadline is by 3rd April, 2023. |

The DAAD Information Centre Accra offers monthly introductory sessions on ‘Study and Research Options in Germany’. These monthly events will be held both online and in person. At these events, we offer an overview of study options, DAAD scholarships as well as answer basic questions on student visa requirements.

Info Café
In collaboration with the Goethe Instiut Library, the DAAD also offers a monthly Info Café which can be attended in-person or online. This two-hour info event provides information about study opportunities, research opportunities and work opportunities in Germany in groups and one-on-one sessions with DAAD representatives.

|
The DAAD supports about 500 lecturers in over 110 countries worldwide. Teaching and research fields are not only in German and European studies but also in German law, politics, economics, history and engineering. Currently working as a DAAD Lecturer in Ghana is Ms. Anett Geithner. |
