Dear Reader,
With our July newsletter, we yet again highlight events and draw your attention to upcoming deadlines for individual funding programmes. We also present to you another DAAD alumnus who did his research in Germany and is now making a difference in his home country.
In August, my time as the Director of DAAD Ghana is ending, after five years of learning, teaching, and working with outstanding scientists, students and the best team thinkable here at the Information Centre. With a tear in my eye because I have come to love Ghana with all my heart, I am also leaving incredibly proud of what we have achieved, and looking forward to new challenges. No matter where my next positions will lead me, I will always come back to visit the friends and family I have found.
Until the new director has assumed her/his position, the newsletter will also go on a hiatus. However, the Information Centre will continue all its services. In the meantime, please find information on all upcoming events and deadlines on our website and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Auf Wiedersehen, Yebehyia biom, Yaaba jogbaŋŋ, Mia dogo, Sai wata rana!
Best regards
Lena Leumer Director DAAD Information Center Accra |
